He was visiting Pakistan to meet his family and shooting some stuff which he`ll be releasing in coming months regarding some social initiatives. Waqas has been part of DhoomBros since day one and immediately won us over his humble and modest attitude. We did mention to him about the messages and comments we have been getting on our last posts and he was grateful to all of you.

We are proud to feature DhoomBros in our MVU series as they present a different picture of Pakistan where they bring out the lively, smiling and full of life picture of the country. They are our ambassadors abroad and doing great job. Here is a small interview with Waqas Riaz regarding background of DhoomBros with a special message to all of you.

MVU. How did you guys come up with idea of DhoomBros? What is the concept behind it?
WR. DhoomBros started as time pass. It was the time when cell phones had newly had cameras. Shehryaar, Hussain and I would make random action films on the cell phones and just enjoy looking at them on the phone. At first we really didn’t know what we were doing, however as time passed by, we would love to learn new techniques to improve our film making skills. Today it’s a passion.

MVU. How has been the response so far?
WR. The respond has been overwhelming. We realized how much power we have when our fans are touched and moved by the stuff we make and that’s what’s film making is all about.

MVU. Share some interesting fan story with us?
WR. A fan ended up at my work on my birthday! It was nice experience. She was very sweet and had even bought me a cake and presents. I wasn’t expecting such a sweet surprise. Must say, one of my best fan experiences.

MVU. Did the life at home changed after the fame?
WR. Life at home really didn’t change much, I am still forced to clean my room and even occasionally wash the dishes LOL. Since I’m the youngest in the family, all the siblings tell me to do things.

MVU. Any message for your fans?
WR. I would like to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for all the love and support they have given in over the years. Without them, we are nothing. They are the reason we strive for better projects. We have more projects coming soon, so sit tight and enjoy the show!
