I dreamed a dream
By Maham Amjad
I dreamed that I was in my happy place,
I dreamed that people remembered that they had to die one day,
As the fright of death was there, the urge to love and remember was even more.
I heard giggles and laughs all around,
Admiring nature and appreciating God.
Hatred and ego was not on that land,
They were possessed by what they called kindness.
I dreamed they all believed in one religion,
I think they said it was humanity.
They were free from worship; they were free from being ruled,
God was happy and they were blessed.
I dreamed a dream, last night.
